Small chip on top backside of housing and small ding on end of prop nothing that would hurt performance. Could use a sanding and paint job. The unit was pulled and gear lube drained and wiped off unit. Lube was free of water intrusion and no metal particles on magnet or in lube.
Brand:Volvo Penta Manufacturer Part Number:DP290 SS Duo Prop 854379 RH C9 and C10 H

I pulled this unit with ss duo prop off of a wellcraft that had a 570 V8 5.7 Volvo Penta in it. I checked that it shifted and was in good working order before removing. When I drained gear lube it looked as good lube should. It had no water intrusion and no metal in lube or on magnet on end of drain plug.Shaft and gears look in great shape and spin free and smooth. Have not attempted to take props off cause I dont have tool for taking off part that hold back prop in place but as easy as parts securing the front prop unscrewed and having no rust or oxidation visible believe would come off with little effort. I did nothing but wipe off oil and dirt from the unit. The Volvo Penta Duo Prop has these numbers on them  600 189 9C  H  on one and  600 189 10C  H  on the other. On the end of top prop it is marked 854379 RH.   If there is a view with another picture you would like to see please ask will do.  If purchased will ship out fast                           Thank You

By Tim Pollard and Ben Oliver 10 July 2008 16:01 Supercars in the Eighties The Italians continued to innovate in the ’80s, but they also came under pressure like never before from a series of supercar wannabes. The Germans fettled the humble 911 Turbo into the race-spec 959, which showed how computers could sport brains as well as brawn. Meanwhile Honda showed the NSX, which became the first contender from the Orient.

Porsche Boxster & Cayman (2008) at LA Auto Show

Wed, 19 Nov 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 19 November 2008 09:00 How to improve on arguably the most sublime roadster and coupe on sale for thirty-something thousand quid? The Porsche Boxster and Cayman are a tough act to follow so, in time-honoured Porsche fashion, Darwinism prevails for the facelifted, 2009 model year models. The new Boxster and Cayman, due to be unveiled later today at the 2008 Los Angeles auto show, are blink-and-you’ll-miss-them similar to today’s cars.

Ford Grand C-Max & C-Max – Frankfurt Catchup

Thu, 17 Sep 2009

Ford has revealed the new C-Max range in Frankfurt including the Grand C-Max (pictured). Two weeks ago we took the lid off the new Ford C-Max with the first pictures of Ford’s 2010 C-Max, which is the first car from Ford to be built on the next generation Focus platform (C-Segment Platform). With swooping, overgrown-coupe lines Ford has done a good job of injecting a bit of style and it’s Kinetic design language in to the new C-Max.
