Penta parts available! Up for sale is an excellent condition Volvo Penta Gm 350 5.7L 4 bolt main .30 over 3970010 Block Marine V8 Engine Motor. This is a refreshed engine with all new Head gaskets , intake manifold Gaskets etc. The engine was rebuilt previously and bored .30 over. and has less than 360 hours since new. This is a high nickel 010 block , forged steel crankshaft, 333882 heads 76cc 1.94 intake heavy casting hardened seat heads, cylinder walls are in beautiful condition No ridges scratches or scores . This was a marine engine ran on a closed cooling heat exchanger system ,no salt water has ever been ran thru this block only coolant . This also has a Edelbrock performer 2101 Aluminum 4 barrel intake for Holley , Quadrajet, or Edelbrock carb. This is a direct replacement for 1979 -1986 and will replace many others Older and newer, This would be a great little hot rod motor for a muscle car. Shelby brings back ‘Shelby American' name for performance-car business

Shelby Automobiles is changing its name to Shelby American--the original banner used by his sports-car business and the historic Le Mans-winning cars in the 1960s. Shelby says the switch is in honor of the 45th anniversary of two of his most famous cars, the 427 Cobra and the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.
Reports that General Motors will sell Opel dismissed as 'nonsense'
Thu, 09 Jun 2011German press reports that General Motors Co. is putting its European unit Opel/Vauxhall up for sale were dismissed as speculation by the division and as "nonsense" by a German state with an Opel factory. The magazines Auto Bild and Spiegel reported that GM is considering putting Opel up for sale as management is losing confidence that its European arm will return to profitability.
Parade of Woodward Dream Cruise classics gets underway
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Friday marked the final prelude of the 17th annual Woodward Dream Cruise but pre-event festivities have been underway for days throughout suburban Detroit. A lights-and-sirens cruise graced the streets of Ferndale, Mich., during late afternoon, while an emergency-vehicle show ran through the evening; live DJs set up to play through the day and night in Pontiac, Mich.; a classic-car parade lit up the streets in the nearby suburb of Berkley; and classic-car displays have now claimed much of the pavement in Royal Oak. Among local car enthusiasts participating in the week-long buildup to the Woodward Dream Cruise, Kathy Lang and her husband have been set up with their 1964 Dodge Polara in the Royal Oak vicinity since Monday.
