These parts came from a 1989 boat with the SP-A outdrive and GM 305 engine.. This auction is for the upper gear box that has u-joints on the U-joint assembly that are brand new, just installed. The yoke end has 26 splines and the transmission shifts fine from forward to reverse. This has the double bolt helmet mount and will fit on out drives from 1981 and up that have the medium bearing race which is the most common size for the 270, 280, and 290, SP and DP drives. The gear changes are in the lower unit so this will fit the 270, 275, and 280 that have 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines. Volvo XC90 interior puts concept car trilogy into practice
Tue, 27 May 2014The Volvo concepts Coupe, XC Coupe and Estate have whetted the appetites of those keen to see new senior VP design president, Thomas Ingenlath's, renaissance of the brand since the former was shown in Frankfurt last September. The first product of these advanced design is the much-needed, all-new XC90 and Volvo has decided to lead its gradual unveiling with its interior. Led by new interior design director Robin Page – formerly head of Bentley interiors – the new SUV's cabin incorporates many of the concepts' elements, most notably the vertical, tablet-style center screen, incorporating Apple Carplay amongst its software.
Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 27 Aug 2013Toyota has released fresh information regarding its 414bhp supermini concept ahead of its debut at next month’s Frankfurt motor show. The Yaris Hybrid R drivetrain features Toyota Motorsport’s 1.6-litre racing petrol engine to power the front wheels and twin electric motors generating 60bhp apiece to run those at the back, giving the car all-wheel drive and a combined output of up to 414bhp. The car also makes use of a supercapacitor inspired by Toyota’s TS030 Hybrid Le Mans racer – energy generated under heavy braking is stored and can be quickly deployed to the rear wheels for an extra burst of power.
