Jaguar has revealed the C-X17 SUV concept on the eve of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is the first ever 4x4 SUV from the British premium maker and, it says, has officially been created to showcase the flexibility of its new all-aluminium platform. Britain could see an increase in smog as the popularity of diesel cars increases, warns a leading pollution expert from King’s College London. The smog-like conditions that have descended on the UK over the past week have been caused by dust blown across from the Sahara Desert mixing with harmful pollution in urban areas. This pollution comes from industry, as well as both petrol and diesel cars.

Porsche to produce Boxster S Black Edition

The new 2012 Porsche Boxster S Black Edition will be available this spring, the automaker said Wednesday. The Black Edition is powered by the same 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine found in the Boxster S. But the Black Edition produces 320 hp, 10 more than the Boxster S.
