GMC Terrain

Making its public debut at the New York Auto Show, the Terrain is a compact SUV-crossover which fits in below the Acadia in the GMC model line-up. Featuring an overall length more than a foot shorter than the Acadia, the Terrain is laden with technology and boasts a multitude of functional storage compartments within its well-resolved exterior design. Rolls-Royce reveals first Wraith teaser

Rolls-Royce has released the first teaser image of the its upcoming Wraith coupé. The image, which confirms that the Wraith is a fastback based on the Ghost, shows a chrome bezel surrounding the rakish DLO as well as rear-hinged doors, as have become an RR trademark. What we can't yet see is the treatment of the nose and tail.

Driven: Mazda RX-8

The two most obvious elements of its unusual make-up are its rotary engine and rear-hinged rear doors with integral B-pillars. What became clear during our week with the RX-8 was how these two aspects of its design form the basis of many other unique qualities... Sports coupe and GT coupe The rotary engine of the RX-8 has a very distinct power delivery that is a defining part of the car's character, but it is also a very small lump of metal compared to a similarly powerful conventional reciprocating piston engine, enabling more of the car's overall length to be devoted to cabin space.
