Vortech 6X1001-001 Super FMU Fuel Management Unit with -6 AN fittings. This is an adjustable rising rate fuel Pressure Regulator with less than 8 hours of total use (Literally). Allows static fuel pressure adjustment as well as fuel pressure gains (per one pound of boost) of 7:1, 5:1, 3.25:1 and 2.5:1. The 2.5:1 gain ring and plate are currently installed.  I just purchased this unit last  month brand new for $360. I am also including the Vortech bleeder valve (used to adjust the rising rate fuel curve) as well which is sold separately from vortech for 35.00
I have misplaced the aluminum ring for the largest 7:1 disc (See pics)...I will try to locate it but I can not guarantee it (this can be purchase directly from vortech for next to nothing)....everything else is intact and "as purchased" from Vortech. I will ship to you FAST in the original Vortech packaging via USPS Priority mail.

Vortech's Super Fuel Management Unit (Super FMU) is a tuner's dream. It permits complete tailoring of the fuel pressure curve relative to manifold pressure, including upper and lower limits. The Super FMU can be used in a series or as a stand alone component. Its super high-flow capacity can handle large single and dual pumps while fluctuation and pressure creep is eliminated. The unit can also be used to adjust static pressure. Features include four pre-calibrated gain ratios: 7:1, 5:1, 3.25:1 and 2.5:1. Easily replaces our standard non-adjustable FMU.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 packs 650 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Based on the well-balanced and infinitely enjoyable C7 Stingray, we knew the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was destined to be great. And powerful. Only, we weren't sure exactly how great or powerful, since we haven't driven it, and Chevrolet has so far been tight-lipped about the exact output figures.

Volvo tests flywheel technology to cut fuel use

Tue, 31 May 2011

Volvo is testing flywheel technology--being used in Formula One racing to give cars an extra boost--as a technology that could help cut fuel use in future cars by as much as 20 percent. Flywheels recapture energy normally lost as heat during braking. That energy can then be used to help propel the car.
