Vintage 12V to 110V Inverter, Converter Delco Custom Tested 12 Volts to 110 Volts. Came from the private collection of an Electrical Engineer and we beieve it was made by him. It's a solid little unit with a large transformer. Tested by inserting the power cord into a 12 Volt cigarette light and was able to operate a table lamp and small electric drill. Seems to work as it should. A very interesting collector piece.

Survey Suggests Dangers Of Mobile Phone Abuse Is Still Underplayed

A LEADING used car warranty firm has conducted a survey to find out what the public believe to be the most dangerous driving offences. Those driver surveyed by Warrantywise believed that by far the most serious offence was driving under the influence, with 67% of respondents listing this at the top. Ranked next highest with just 10% was ignoring traffic lights and 9% using mobile devices whilst driving.

LA Motor Show: Ford Edge spin-off headed for Europe

FORD HAS given European audiences an unusual teaser by revealing its new Edge large SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show, before adding that it will come to Europe - with as-yet unconfirmed changes. The car is officially only a concept, as evidenced by the wild interior design. The exterior, however, has been tipped by Ford insiders to be more or less production-ready for North America.
