I believe this is a Vintage Snap-on socket from the 1945 era, made for a Military contract, but not 100% for sure. Please review the details for your assurance.
The socket is stamped Snap-on with the underline logo, date code G (G=Government date code 1945), 15/16, MADE IN
The socket is a 12-point and is 3 1/4” long.
The socket is in good condition for the era. I believe it may have been cadmium plated---but most has rubbed off and is discolored……. As with a USED item there is discoloration & normal use wear, and a few light dents, dings and scratches, all as noted from the photos.
