For your consideration: Vtg 1962 Dual Altimeter Aero Indicator Capital Parachuting Fayetteville NC

Patent registered on March 3rd, 1962. It's unusual that it has two dials. Never seen one like it. Tag reads from Fayetteville, NC. I'm assuming it's governvment issued and belonged in a cockpit most likely used during the Vietnam War. It was purchased from the estate of a career Veteran who served in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. All three wars! He served our military for over 40 years! It weighs about 1.89lbs and measures 7 3/4" inches long and 5 1/2" inches wide and 4 1/2" inches tall. I don't know if it functions, but there's no indication of damage whatsoever. I turned the knob under each dial and the hands move on both. Great addition to any military collection or even as a display piece for a desk. It may even work, but I don't know how to test it. Enjoy!

The company says the new concept hints at a future styling direction, including the new sports car that is being developed in conjunction with Renault, due in 2016.

Toyota ME.WE Concept: It’s an egalitarian EV

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Based on the electric running gear of the Toyota i-Road we saw at Geneva (but with a full set of wheels) Toyota and Massaud have created an urban vehicle that takes transport back to the basics; a 2CV for the 21st century, perhaps, or a grown up home-made kart seems to be where the ME.WE is at. The construction of the ME.WE comprises a tubular aluminium chassis and a pile of interchangeable polypropylene panels that can change the function of the ME.We from city car to convertible to pickup to 4×4 (thanks to electric motors on both axles) and is, by any definition, transport and not a car you’d have to make a statement. Inside is just as basic with a single dial for the instruments, flat surfaces made from bamboo (designers love a bit of bamboo), batteries for the electric motors under the floor and you have to store any luggage on the roof under a weatherproof cover.

McLaren confirmed earlier this month that the 12C GT Sprint would cost $316,000, converted from British pounds. On Thursday, we were sent a selection of photos of the new track car by photographer David Kaiser, from a car show in Zurich, Switzerland. According to a McLaren representative at the booth, the 12C GT Sprint pictured is the first production car.
