Vintage 1977 Book - How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive, John Muir.  Soft cover.  Book is in fair condition.  Various wear.  Cover and front pages starting to separate from binder.  Many pages dog eared from use.  Found some writing on a couple of pages.  Book is perfectly usable.  Artwork in book is a nice touch.

MOTORCYCLES, scooters and mopeds are among the modes of transport least likely to affect your general wellbeing, according to a government travel survey. The Office for National Statistics released a report earlier this year examining the impact of commuting patterns on people’s levels of anxiety, happiness and satisfaction. For journeys up to 30 minutes there was no negative effect on levels of happiness or anxiety for those who rode a motorcycle, moped or scooter to work.

The image reveals little about the EV, but we expect the five-seat battery-powered car to have Ford Focus-like dimensions, thanks to its compact motor. We can also decipher that the badge hides a charging socket at the front – a neat solution that’ll make the EV easy to charge in right- and left-hand drive markets.  The introduction of Nissan’s EV comes just a week after the Japanese company unveiled plans to produce battery packs at its Sunderland plant.

Swedish design firm Gray Design gave us its take on a new Saab 9-3 on Friday. The sleek, spaceship-like car reminds us again of what Saab’s future could have looked like. Gray Design says the Saab 9-3 Mark III is an attempt to take design elements from past Saabs and blend them into modernity.
