This older Airguide Hand Sighting Compass is in its original box and has a white nylon carry-bag.  It is in very good condition, works well and has a new battery for the light (although the switch can be a little temperamental at times).  No instructions.  The box is in good condition with all corners intact.

Ford streamlines design process with latest 3D technologies

Ford has released details of its use of new digital technologies in streamlining its design process. Designers use what they call the 3D CAVE – Computer Automated Virtual Environment – to recreate a car's interior by projecting images onto the large white walls and roof. 3D polarizing glasses framed with motion sensors are used to transport them into the car's virtual interior.

Porsche stopped production today at its assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany, after floods in the region disrupted supplies. The factory builds the Cayenne SUV and Panamera sedan for global markets, including the United States. Porsche told workers on today's early shift not to come into work after floods in the Czech Republic halted supply of Cayenne bodies.

Jaguar didn't unveil its BMW 3-series-fighter at the Geneva motor show, but it did christen it. The aluminum-heavy sport sedan will be called the XE when it begins its global rollout in 2015. The XE isn't exactly a surprise.
