Vtg Antique Car Dash Board Lamp Light Cover Accessory, After Market Original on 2040-parts.com
Orange County in CA, US
This is NOT a Re-PRODUCTION but an
original accessory car item from the 1920s. Some
people use them today to jazz up their vintage car, motorcycles, hot rods, etc. This listing is for an original
vintage car DASH LAMP COVER which was an after market accessory. This item
would be placed over the small interior dashboard light bulb so instead of
looking at a plain exposed car light bulb, you would see only the cover with the light
shining through, with the square opening facing the floorboard for needed minimal light. Please see all 5 photos. Description
& Condition: It is made of nickle plated brass. There is metal wear on this 1920s item. It is approx. 1 1/4 inch tall and a coin nickle fits inside with a lil wiggle room (inside opening). See photos for close ups. This listing is for the dash cover light accessory only, NOT for any other items you may see in the photos. Questions? Please ask.

Magnum MK5 to debut at Boca Raton Concours
Thu, 30 Jan 2014New supercar-company releases hit our email inboxes almost as much as news about natural male enhancements does. Mostly, we pay them no mind; the majority of these “upcoming” hyper-hyper cars never make it out of the computer-rendering phase. But when a company claims Formula One driver Gilles Villeneuve as one of its first customers, we take notice.
Volkswagen puts a price on the VW Polo BlueGT
Fri, 19 Oct 2012The Volkswagen Polo Blue GT – a warmed over Polo – will cost from £17,400 for the 1.4-litre 138bhp 6 spd manual. The Polo Blue GT gets the 1.4 TFSI engine with 138bhp so the little Polo can row along well enough, but it also get cylinder deactivation for when you’re not blatting from traffic light to traffic light to endow the Blue GT with official average economy of 60.1mpg (or 62.7mpg if you opt for the DSG ‘box). When you’re not worried about being parsimonious with your fuel the Polo GT skips along to 62mph in 7.9 seconds and handles well enough thanks to the Polo’s already decent setup and a 15mm lower suspension.
Fiat Bravo MSN launched
Tue, 16 Jun 2009The Fiat Bravo MSN has been launched to coincide with the Bravo Tour Charity Event Which all brings to mind that famous quote by Bill Gates – “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG” Which in turn brought a response from GM, which took exception to Bill’s statement, and issued a press release countering his assertion, which is worth the read in full: If GM had kept up with technology like the Computer Industry has, then: 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash……..Twice a day. 2.
