De Tomaso has never had a an easy time of things despite building a few cars – well, the De Tomaso Pantera, at least – which had real appeal. After its last bankruptcy, former Fiat executive Gian Mario Rossignolo rode in as a white knight to put De Tomaso back on top – or so we thought.
Subaru prices WRX STI Special Edition at $35,565
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition will cost $29,565 including a $770 destination charge while the upgraded WRX STI Special Edition will come in at $35,565 when they arrive at dealerships in spring. The Special Edition costs $500 more than the next highest-priced WRX trim. All Special Editions will wear an orange-and-black paint scheme with black painted wheels, black front fender badging and black exterior mirrors.

Featuring adaptive four wheel drive and an electronic limited slip diff., the handling is also aided by a 10mm lower suspension setup than the standard Insignia, and HiPerStrut front suspension which keeps torque steer in check. Vauxhall XVR Concept The Insignia VXR manages the 0-60 sprint in 5.8 seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph.
