From HPA's web site. SHS Coilovers for Volkswagen and Audi Developed in conjunction with the engineers at KW Automotive, the team at HPA Motorsports has designed an out of the box solution that is preset to perform... HPA's SHS coilovers offer an unmatched balance between handling and comfort. All SHS applications are based off KW's twin tube low pressure damper design. Embracing KW's patented valve technology, the high-speed dampening characteristics remain similar to OEM offering a near factory comfort level, while the low speed dampening power is increased to eliminate pitch and roll associated with heavy braking or corner entry. Each application features linear race springs on the front and progressive barrel spring on the rear. SHS is the PERFECT suspension solution for the enthusiast looking to gain better control at corner entry on high-speed sprints, yet uses their car in the harsh real world environment. Are Bugatti plotting a Final Edition ‘Super’ Veyron?
Sun, 23 Jun 2013Will the power of the Veyron Super Sport (pictured) grow to 1500bhp? The rumours that the Bugatti Veyron would, at some point, get more than its original 100bhp or so have been around seen the Veyron first launched. Eventually, Bugatti delivered and we got the Veyron Super Sport – with 1200bhp – back in 2010 which was, inevitably, followed by the convertible version in the guise of the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse sporting 1200bhp and a hole to let the sky in.
Lexus NX Compact SUV: OFFICIAL
Fri, 11 Apr 2014The Lexus NX (pictured) revealed in standard and F Sport guise Last weekend Lexus teased the production version of their new compact SUV – the Lexus NX – ahead of its debut, and this morning we get the official reveal and details of specification and powertrains. Aimed at compact SUVs like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, the production version of the Lexus NX may have been toned down somewhat from the LF-NX Concept, but it’s still a bold design and keeps a degree of the angularity of the concept; it’ll stand out in the sector – no bad thing. As you’d expect, the big, bold Lexus grill makes its presence felt, with slim LED headlights, big wheelarches, statement alloys (17″ or 18″), sculpted bonnet, sharp creases on the flanks and a back end that’s as angular as the front.
Lexus LS TMG Edition uncovered
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Lexus LS TMG Edition We’re starting to think that Lexus has finally woken up to the fact that having some properly good performance cars in their range is a good idea. And the latest indication of that new direction is the very warm super saloon that is the Lexus LS TMG Edition, spotted lurking in a garage near the Nurburgring in between runs round the ‘Ring. The LS TMG Edition apparently sports a 5.0 litre V8 with 641bhp and 524lb/ft of torque, which will be enough to hit a 4.0 second 0-60mph and a top speed of around 200mph.
