Thu, 12 Dec 2013

However, roads campaigners say it has not benefitted to local area or the UK roads network.

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

The Guardian said that a report examining its "culture and practices" has been sent to director of television Danny Cohen and that people working on the show were asked if they thought it was racist. The show was found to have breached Ofcom's broadcasting rules last month over a ''racial'' term used by presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

Lifeboat resuces two swamped cars

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

At least one of the vehicles which were wrecked by the submerging North Sea had been used to try to pull a boat out of the water, the RNLI said. A crew from Redcar, near Middlesbrough, responded to the first call-out at 3.20pm on Wednesday after coastguards received a number of 999 calls saying two people were on the roof of a vehicle on the town's beach as the waters came in.
