Listing is for 1 pair, 2 assemblies, 1 left and 1 right turn signal assemblies for a Volkswagen beetle with amber or yellow lenses. Normally used on beetles from 1970 - 1979, of course you can use them on other years with modifications. These are reproductions with a fair quality. The housing are metal not plastic like other reproductions. The chrome quality is fair. They include the factory style bulb holder for 1 dual filament bulb and 1 smaller single filament bulb. Bulbs are not included. Gaskets are included. They mount in original holes and work fine. They are perfect for a budget restoration. Any part of this assembly can work with original parts. Mon, 31 Mar 2014The new Mercedes GLA down a salt mine in Cheshire Trying to find an unusual venue for new car launches is something that taxes the brains of car PR teams, and Mercedes came up with somewhere a little left field for the launch of the new GLA Compact SUV – the UK’s biggest salt mine at Winsford in Cheshire. The Winsford Rock Salt Mines – 130 miles of salt mining tunnels running under Cheshire – are the result of salt mining since the 19th century and now comprise of 130 miles of tunnels some 189 metres below ground, a void beneath the earth of 23 million cubic metres. Still a working salt mine, Winsford is also home to a massive storage facility for, among others, the National Archive, where constant temperatures of 14C make for an ideal storage environment.

Caterham’s foray in to F1 hasn’t been much of a success, with not a single point on the F1 board since they arrived in 2010 as Lotus Racing (although Marcus Ericsson was just one place off a point at Monaco yesterday). Now, after warning back in January that he would walk away from F1 if the Caterham team’s performance on track didn’t improve, it looks like Fernandes is ready to walk away from Caterham altogether.

Tue, 25 Sep 2012The new Toyota Auris is heading for a debut at Paris 2012 and Toyota has now revealed prie and specification ahead of its reval. Starting point will be £14,495 and there will be four trim grades - Active, Icon, Sport and Excel – as well as two petrol engines – 1.33 Dual VVT-i and 1.6 litre Valvematic – a single 1.4 litre D-4D diesel and a hybrid, with the diesel and petrols getting a six-speed manual ‘box and Toyota’s Multidrive S CVT an option on the 1.6 petrol. The Auris hybrid gets the E-CVT automatic.
