New VW 3" Shifter extension.  Extensions are used to raises the gear shift knob to provide a better arm angle for more precise and comfortable shifting. Longer shift levers are commonly use with body lifts and in race applications where every shift matters.

Simple to install just remove the knob and thread on the extension then reinstall the knob.

Fits most all VW Bugs, Beetles, Ghias and buses Type 1, 2, and 3. With the lack of standardazation with VW's, it's the buyers responsibility to check correct thread size before ordering. Remove the knob and check with a bolt from home depot.

This extension has 12MMx1.5 threads. If you need another thread size, we have may other sizes in stock.  We custom make these in house so if you don't see what you need E-mail me.

See my other auctions for different makes, models and years.

CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and can be painted if desired.

Bugatti sell their 400th Veyron – just 50 left to go. But what next for Bugatti?

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

The 400th Veyron – a Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Special Edition Bugatti may have come to rely on ‘Special Edition’ Veyrons to keep making sales, but they’re now getting close to the end of their production run. The Veyron – which debuted in 2005 – is limited to a total of 300 coupes and 150 Roadsters, and all the coupes are long gone with just the Roadsters left to finish their run, and only 50 of are those left to sell. Not surprisingly, the 400th Veyron to be sold – the latest Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Special Edition – went to a client in the Middle East at a hefty €2.14 million which, at a rates of around one a week sold for the last eight years, means the Veyron will be consigned to the Bugatti history book by the end of 2014.

1932 Ford 'Deucenberg V8' wins Ridler award

Mon, 09 Mar 2009

A head-turning burgundy 1932 Ford B400 took home top honors at Detroit's Autorama on Sunday, winning the coveted Ridler award over seven other finalists. Dubbed the "Deucenberg V8," the car is designed to be an elegant hot rod, drawing on cues from the luxurious Duesenbergs of that era. It has an aluminum lift-off roof with cloth top, suicide doors, a stretched hood and leather interior.
