7N0 907 530 AR Used to Sovle Battery Discharge Problem after installing a RCD510 It is Not Plug&Play . Need Code in Vcds. If you're thinking of upgrading your VW with a new Touchscreen system such as the RCD 510, RNS 510 / MFD3 or RNS 315 and your car was manufactured before 2008 then it is more than likely you will need the CAN Gateway upgrade. In essence, this is the main computer that controls your vehicle. This CAN Gateway or Body Control Unit (BCU) as it's otherwise known is an essential upgrade for pre 08 vehicles. When installing the new systems your current Module does not understand how to correctly control the RCD or RNS unit and can lead to the following Problems: Battery discharge (You don't want to wake up to a flat battery!) The unit turning itself off every 30 minutes or so No Optical Parking integration on your screen (If you decide to retrofit OPS) There can be other issues experienced but these are the main three! In essence the new technology cannot effectively communicate with the old technology in the vehicle. Full list of vehicles this module will work with can be seen on the compatibility tab. Please Note: This is a genuine VW part, but is not a plug and play option and will require coding via a genuine Ross-Tech VCDS / Vag-COM or a VW Main Dealership / specialist. This Module is not compatible with the Passat B6. |

Monster Jam is totally rad
Thu, 15 May 2014To our 6-year-old selves, monster trucks really were the biggest, baddest things on four wheels, mechanized, city-block-sized demon machines that ate sedans and belched fire. The reality is that the trucks aren't that big when you get right up next to them -- certainly not the Caterpillar 797-sized car-obliterators we imagined years ago. They're probably around 12 feet high at most; given current trends, they'll be eclipsed by heavy-duty pickups in a design cycle or two.
Lotus Evora – all new photos
Sat, 02 May 2009All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
Ford's automotive assembly line celebrates 100th anniversary
Wed, 09 Oct 2013A mere century ago, on Oct. 7, 1913, Henry Ford rigged up a rope tow to get Model T chassis across the floor of his Highland Park assembly plant -- essentially winching cars across the factory floor and adding a set schedule of parts at certain intervals. The implementation may have been a bit primitive, but Ford was on the cusp something big: applying the concepts of the moving assembly line to the complicated, costly process of automobile production.
