This is Jaguar’s new sub-XK sports car. As we revealed back in 2009, Jaguar is working on an all-new small sports car, nicknamed the XE, to compete with Porsche’s best – and this is it. This official design sketch teases the concept car (dubbed C-X16, the hybrid supercar concept is C-X75) that will appear at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September.

In yet another ‘Sign of the times’ Skoda has announced that they are now offering ‘VAT Free Octavias’ until the end of the year. No, this is not a tie-up between Alistair Darling and VW, it’s just Skoda’s way of offering a headline price decrease of a bit over 13% (less expensive to Skoda than last week for the same headline, to be fair, and there is a new model due in January!). Visions of Voisins

It'll be the largest collection of Automobiles Voisin ever assembled since the factory closed in 1937. Peter Mullin, collector extraordinaire of beautiful French cars of the art deco movement, has spent the last decade scouring the planet in search of some of the 200 or so remaining Voisins to feature in an exhibit of the marque opening this fall in his Mullin Automotive Museum. The result is 15 cars, one motorcycle and an airplane.
