This chip was given to me around 2000 by the owner of a1992 GTI I purchased, and has been in my desk since. The car was stolen soon afterward, and am now cleaning out my desk. The car was modified, and if I remember correctly, the owner state that this was the stock chip for the upgrade that was in the car. That would also explain the "stock chip" sticker on the box. This was 13 years ago, so the details are sketchy.
I am not a gearhead and know nothing about this stuff. The box appears to be factory sealed, I'm just cleaning stuff up. Therefore, I'm starting at a low price and it's being sold AS IS.

The 206 GTI never recaptured the fizz that made its 205 predecessor one of the iconic pocket rockets, but Peugeot hopes to fix that this time round. For a start, the 206 gets the same turbocharged 175bhp 1.6 as in the Mini Cooper S; Peugeot-Citroen PSA collaborated with BMW, which builds the four-cylinder engines at its Hams Hall plant in the Midlands, UK.

This move now brings the total number of trim levels available on the LaCrosse to seven. The Chinese-market LaCrosse is a locally produced sedan that is visually identical to the American model on the outside.
