There is at least a 3 to 4 week lead time to manufacture your harness.

Forget the headache of dealing with the tangled mess in your kit trying to figure out what's what. Cheap plastic splices, crimped ends pulling free, missing leads, no grounds. The problem list goes on...

OR, electrical problems already plaguing you?  Rip out that spaghetti disaster under your dash from the previous owner, and clean up the mess!!!

If you think sorting out your mangled harness is quick easy work.... Lol
Burnt fingers working the soldering iron your idea of good ol fashioned fun??  Then go on, knock yourself out!
Do you REALLY like the look of that cheap plastic wire harness retainer???

OR:
Save all the frustration and jam this proven *finished* professionally wrapped harness in your glass buggy in ONE afternoon!

Manx resorter................      (Full pan)
Allison Daytona Deluxe Touring...(Full pan)
Bradley GT.............(Full pan)
Etc.
This long body harness works on all long bodied / full pan type buggies, so you can be assured your tail leads will not come up short! Fitted on a 75 Allison Daytona. Or Bradley GT.

Our standard harness fits short manx style buggies!! Check my other auction.

CONNECTORS  are 95% female slide connectors and all properly soldered and shrink wrapped.
The starter lead and rear harness gound 'lead-in' will be ring connectors that fit those bolts on the starter.

Please specify where your harness needs special terminations.
For instance... Commonly, aftermarket ignition switches have screws to fasten wire, not plug-ins.
Slide connectors are typically used everywhere else.
Female slide connectors are the default connector, so let us know what you want.
Male plugs are used where necessary for stock VW components. (Turn signal leads, wiper motor ground and reverse light dropout)

Your new harness will include all necessary GROUND leads for a fiberglass body on a VW TYPE 1 pan!  (not in universal kit)
Your new harness will include a license plate light lead with ground! ( not in universal kit)
Your new harness will include fuel gauge and sending unit leads with ground. ( not in universal kit)
Your new harness will include wiper leads for a 12v VW 2 speed wiper assembly.
Your new harness will include leads for a stock Vw turn signal assembly.

All connectors soldered and shrink wrapped.  NO CRIMPED CONNECTIONS.  All T joints are soldered and shrink wrapped for protection.

Details from you are critical to obtain a clean  professional looking install.
Your harness is wrapped in dry vinyl harness wrap that is similar to electrical tape but has no glue and must be tied on ends.   It can be unwrapped if necessary.
What year is your chassis?  Reverse light switch in nose cone of transaxle?
Hi-beam foot dimmer switch, or turn signal/solenoid type?
Does your buggy have harness tubes molded in?
We prefer  to use the left side of the buggy body for harness wiring, and the right side for you to install radio wires and stuff like off-road lights.  Default location of our front to rear harness is always drivers side under fender ledge or through body tubes.
Specify if your harness needs to run down the PASSENGER SIDE OF BODY.
Do you have a new style alternator, or an external voltage regulator?  Where is it in the engine bay?  You might need to relocate it.
Dash gauges speedometer and switch location should be included in communication so the dropouts will be where they need to be.
Default location is the typical gauge cluster in the center of dash. Some buggies have a headlight switch installed on the left of steering wheel... Specify if yours is unusual.

Are there existing holes drilled for wiring on left or right side of under dash body/footboard?
Special headlight switch and ignition switch locations must be noted.

A clear picture of  YOUR dash should give us what we need.
A picture of YOUR tail and taillight locations will also be necessary for your complete satisfaction.

FUEL TANK LOCATION is critical if you have a sending unit in it and a gas gauge on the dash.  Most aluminum tube style tanks use a stick device for measuring, so if that's what you use skip this step!!! Otherwise a lead from gas gauge to tank must be fitted to your custom/remote fuel tank.  Default location is with a stock VW TYPE 1 tank under the hood as found in most buggys.
All that being said, in this auction, You get WIRING for:

High beam, low beam, front and rear turn signals, running lights, stop lights, reverse lights, lisence plate light.
Ignition switch, headlight switch, wiper switch, turn signal switch, flasher, horn. Tach, speedometer, high beam indicator, oil pressure. Turn signal indicator, coil indicator .  And respective grounds for a glass bodied vw car.  Also, a modern, sealed, ATC ATO 6 circuit Fuse box.
All with labels. No guessing anywhere.
Sorry, no truck / sportsman bodies available for test fit, but we can help you make it happen with proper communication, pics, and a few measurements!
These will be custom built for you on a first come first served basis.  They are 'built to order' by hand in the US of A and will require a time to fabricate.  3 weeks plus.  PLAN AHEAD.  First come first served.

I have been doing electronics and wiring since 1984.   Satisfaction is my goal.  Oh, and to rid the world of ugly wiring in cool cars!
