This is a 1600 dual port engine which was purchased 12 years ago rebuilt and used in a Meyers Manx with a three speed automatic transmission. It only has 574 miles since then, compression is #1-118, 2-118, 3-115, 4-115. A scope was used to look inside at cylinder walls and you can still see the hone marks. It comes with an extra new 34 PITC carb, 009 petronix ing, Empi HD oil pump, Degree crank pulley, chrome belt guard, new plug wires, Empi valve covers, equipped with alternator and regulator, external oil cooler and new hoses. If used as stick shift it will need a flywheel, nut and the crankshaft endplay must be set. But the first race car built on BMW's new F30 bones is actually a 335i. Given that the new car's stock turbo six cranks out power similar to that of the naturally aspirated screamer in the 2001-06 E46 M3, building a dedicated rennsport machine from a non-M 3-series doesn't seem like the great loss of opportunity it once could've been.
