Tue, 16 Sep 2014A SELL-OUT crowd of 148,000 enjoyed the 17th Goodwood Revival Meeting on the weekend of September 12-14 at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The on-track highlights included the annual RAC TT Celebration race for early-1960s GT cars, comprising a £150 million field that included Jaguar E-types, Aston Martin Project cars and even a Bizzarini. The 60th anniversary of the Jaguar D-Type was marked with a 30-car parade plus the Lavant Cup race exclusively for examples of the Le Mans-winning British sportscar, while the Maserati 250F also turned 60 with variants of the Italian grand prix car making up two thirds of the Richmond Trophy field for front-engined F1 machinery of the late 1950s.

Thu, 08 Nov 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 November 2007 02:28 Ford Focus ST500: the lowdown Ford is a past master of doing limited editions, and there have been any number of Fiesta, Escort and Mondeo specials over the years. Now it's the turn of the soon-to-be-refreshed Focus hatchback - and specifically the ST hot hatch. Just 500 ST500 models will be made, presumably to shift the outgoing model before the new one arrives this winter.
Fuel magazine films Ford designer Craig Metros in his Melbourne workshop
Tue, 06 Sep 2011Australian auto culture magazine, Fuel, has created this beautiful short film, Factory 6, featuring an interview with Melbourne-based, Detroit-raised Ford Chief Designer, Craig Metros. The film explores the shared Melbourne workshop space in which Metros and five other designers work on a number of automotive and art projects in their spare time. It offers a great insight into his inspirations, his feelings on making the jump from Detroit to Melbourne and how it feels to have fulfilled a childhood dream.
