This retrofit kit is not Volkswagen genuine parts, but it's more clever, and it also can be used on the model which haven't factory auto-light.
You will never forget to turn off head-light if your use "Auto" mode, it's great!

We have two type Auto-light module,

One is fit for Jetta 2012~,new-beetle,the-beetle,Polo,Up,Passat 3B,Golf MK4,etc which the current headlight switch is Type B.(refer to following picture). The one your you looking now.

The other one is fit for Golf Mk5,6,7,Passat 3C,Tiguan,etc which the original headlight switch is Type A.(refer to following picture).

Please release the panel in the side near the headlight switch, And check your current light switch, type B can use this module. ( refer to following picture )

This kit includes a auto-light switch and module and english installation manual.

Installation is very easy, just unplug current headlight switch, then insert this module to the connector of your car and insert our light switch(it's a genuine parts) to module. It's Ok!

Function:

1, When sky getting dark, low beam and tail lamp will turned on automatically.

2, When sky getting more dark, low beam,high beam and tail lamp will turned on automatically.

3, Include sensitivity controller. you can change the lighting timing .

4, Can set front-fog-lamp working together with high beam through the circuit jumper.

5, Coming-Home function and Leaving-Home function.

6, Support DRL(daytime running light). you just need connect daytime lamp to this module.

Attention

Some other maker's similar item have two problems,

1, When start engine headlight will flash for one time,

2, For BLUEMOTION model, it will turn off the headlight while stop/start switching off the engine even at night.
