Complete engine head removed from a Volkswagen Jetta 2000 to 2003 ALH TDI. Head is in good condition, didn't have any problems with it on the engine. Intake chambers have some oil residue but nothing serious, bottom is clean. All threads on it are in good condition. Lifters are in good condition. It turns over perfectly, it was removed in TDC position, and will be shipped in TDC position.

The car it was removed from ran on synthetic oil, mileage is between 120 and 200K miles.

What I guarantee on it, is that it has no bent valves and no damage to the camshaft or camshaft guides due to oil starvation. The oil was clean, coolant was clean, no cross contamination between the two.

This head is clean, and it is in good general condition, it has been cleaned on the outside. However the bottom needs to be prepped prior to installation. 

Take note that due to the nature of the part, and as I cannot foresee the installation, it will be sold as-is. Also, it may have to be resurfaced, I never had to resurface the heads I installed and the cars still worked perfectly fine. It's a used part taken off a running car, the chances that it has to be resurfaced are very low but they are there. Please take that into consideration before buying.

From which you would conclude, quite rightly, that this is a cosmetc ‘Sports’ job, not a power one.
