With designs for MK4, MK5, MK6 and MK7 platforms equipped with 02M 6-speed Transmissions, these versatile pieces of hardware can be set up on one of two different positions to suit your preference: a sporty 20% reduction in throw or a more aggressive 35%/40%. The perfectly balanced shifter counter weight gives each shift a precise and positive engagement and greatly improves the feeling over the sloppy stock shifter. The bright zinc plated finish ensures that the stock appearance of your engine compartment is maintained while protecting the casting from corrosion. Ford and GM reliability ratings dip in Consumer Reports survey
Tue, 25 Oct 2011Consumers rated Ford's new Explorer, Fiesta and Focus models at less-than-average reliability during their first year, according to Consumer Reports' annual auto survey. Poor reception of the new models bumped Ford's overall reliability rank from the 10th spot in 2010 to the 20th this year among the 28 major nameplates included in the survey. Findings are based on responses from 1.3 million vehicle owners or lessees who subscribe to the magazine.

It's a compact SUV (what else, these days) that's taller and more stout-looking then the cheeky little C4 Cactus lightweight. Officially a concept car, but looking only a set of numberplates away from showrooms, the C-XR is especially notable for being the first SUV co-developed between Citroen and its Chinese brand partner, Dongfeng motor corp.
Young Drivers Accident Risk Warning
Tue, 27 May 2014RESEARCH commissioned by the RAC Foundation and carried out by transport research laboratory TRL has found that teenage drivers are involved in almost one in eight road accidents involving injury. Based on nationwide statistics covering five years 2008 to 2012, the survey showed that 11.9% of all road casualties were injured or killed in collisions involving a car driver aged 17-19. This was despite those aged between 17 and 19 making up only 1.5% of licensed drivers.
