Phatnoise Phatbox Digital Media Player, VA-012.  NO cartridge included.  Unit is in good condition.  Mounting brackets included.  There are some light marks on the outside housing from normal use.  This item came out of a wrecked 2004 VW MK4 GTI R32.  Item was working when removed.  It comes with the VW adapter cable, part # CAS-001-VW-15.  I am not sure what all years this cable will fit, may fit all VW mk4 models, may only fit 2004 R32, May fit MK4 & MK5???  Please see pictures for overall condition.  

New speed cameras planned for motorways

NEW SPEED CAMERAS painted grey and placed along large sections of the UK’s motorway could be introduced within two years. The Highways Agency is looking to increase the amount of ‘managed motorway’ on the network – sections where the overall speed of traffic is adjusted up and down to avoid traffic jams and to allow the use of hard-shoulder running. Currently sections of the M25 and M40 operate variable speed limits Under new plans however cameras will be placed on large sections of motorway designed to catch drivers exceeding the overall 70mph limit.

Higher speed limits result in fewer crashes

Raising the speed limit can make roads safer, according to a study carried out in Denmark. The Danish Road Directorate monitored how driver behaviour and accident rates changed when speed limits on country roads and motorways were increased. Gales and rain hit Christmas travel

PEOPLE WANTING to get home for Christmas face major disruption as strong gales and torrential rain threaten to cause travel chaos. Severe weather warnings are in place for much of the UK today until 9am on Christmas Eve, threatening to cause localised flooding across southern England and Wales. Strong winds are expected across much of the UK, with winds of up to 80mph in coastal areas of southern England, while Scotland is braced for sleet and snow storms and icy roads, the Met Office said.
