Mon, 16 Apr 2012

2012 Ferrari California on video The 2012 Ferrari California is a facelifted and tweaked version of the original California, revealed at the Geneva Motor Show and now on Video. It wouldn’t be a big surprise if the facelift for the Ferrari California had passed you by. Ferrari revealed details of the 2012 facelift for the California in February and debuted it at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but with the new Ferrari F12 bowing in at Geneva the tweaks to the California took a distinct back seat.

Aston Martin & Mercedes join forces

Wed, 30 Mar 2011

Aston Martin Production will soon see an injection of Mercedes DNA This isn’t the first time we’ve talked about a partnership between Aston Martin and Mercedes, but according to Car & Driver it’s now just about a done deal. As long ago as March 2009 we reported that Mercedes supplied the basis for the Lagonda SUV Concept (a Mercedes GL), and six months later we reported that Aston Martin were working on a Mercedes S-Class based Lagonda saloon. More recently we reported that the GL-based Lagonda SUV was back on and that Mercedes wanted Aston Martin to put together the next generation of Maybach.

Renault Alpine A110-50 to be developed with Caterham

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

It seems the impressive Renault Alpine A110-50 is heading for production with Caterham, not Lotus, as development partner. Which is part of the reason Renault want a partner on-board to help with development and production of the Renault Alpine A110-50 – a new Alpine based on a Megane platform with a DeZir body – and turn it, hopefully, from a track concept to the first Alpine for the road in twenty years. It had been mooted that Renault were eyeing up Lotus to partner on the Alpine A110-50, but according to a report from Autocar they are instead working with Caterham to bring the A110-50 to life.
