Light pitting...think? it ca be honed
Brand:Volkswagen VW Surface Finish:cast iron Manufacturer Part Number:106 311.101.3010

Offered is a 1960's cast iron VW cylinder jug.

Found as an orphan so have to go by the part number.   The part number (pics 2-4)  108   "311.101.3010" shows it fitting a type 3 (The 3 in 311) VW from 1961 -73.....included the Fastback, Notchback or Staton Wagon.  As always please do you own checking.

CONDITION -  This had a thin coating of rust on it...cleaned it up and has some light pitting inside the cylinder ....but think it will hone out.  (Please see pic 5-8)

No visible cracks.  There is a casting seam that starts at the base runs up both sides (180 degrees apart) of the fins.

Will do my best to answer any questions or concerns and thank you for looking...
