Up for auction is a set of reproduction BRM center caps. All BRM reproduction wheels have an 80mm center cap bore size. This is a new set that has been in my parts collection for a while and I am letting them go! There may be a small scratch or scuff here and there but they show extremely well. The center caps are metal with a brushed finish on them. I have added large pictures to the auction.

I am starting the auction at only $20 with no reserve.

Jaguar reveals first ‘new’ lightweight E-Type

CLASSIC car fans and speculators alike will be rejoicing as Jaguar has revealed the prototype of its ‘new' lightweight E-Type. Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.

Boyd Coddington, dead at 63

Legendary Californian hot-rod builder and customizer Boyd Coddington, passed-away last Wednesday, at 63, from complications related to a recent surgery. His influence and legacy is immense, not just in the street-rod scene, but for the automotive design community as a whole. Raised in Rupert Idaho, Coddington moved to California in the late 60's to start his hot-rod shop while working for Disneyland as a machinist.
