This listing features a shift console that came out of an '92 Cabriolet, it will fit in any Mk1 Cabriolet from 1980 to 1993 (and other Mk1's as well). The picture is of the actual item you will receive, I will get better pics up soon. Gauges are included, untested, senders are not. Also includes cassette tape holder, and automatic shift indicator (now shown). Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about these shift consoles and fitment into 1981-1984 U.S. built Rabbits. This console WILL fit cars from those years - WITH or WITHOUT A/C. You will need to rig up brackets for the two upper mounting holes however. In A/C cars: it's probably easiest to make two 'L' brackets using 1" x 1/8 aluminum stock. Mount them flat against the heater box with pop-rivets or epoxy. Then locate where the brackets meet the sides of the console, pop a couple 1/8" screws through the console/aluminum, and screwed it down with some ordinary interior trim screws. Drill another down through the floor and use a long screw to attach the 'heel' of the console. In non A/C cars - the same general idea is used - bend the aluminum stock so it connects to the lower dash bolt hole areas.

Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport (2010) launched

Wed, 16 Dec 2009

The 2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport launches in January The latest Freelander is a very good car. A million miles away from the first Freelander it is well built, comfortable, roomy and does a very good imitation of a decent estate car on road, but still has the ability to cope with the rough stuff much more convincingly than the vast majority of the competition. But moving metal is about offering the buyer something extra.

Koenigsegg has signed the stock purchase agreement to buy 100% of Saab – but there are still numerous hurdles before the deal completes 'in the next few months.' Exactly.
