Used. This unit has 100 miles on it. Selling my Golf R and need to part this out. It's only been installed a couple weeks. Loved the system. Perfect fit, factory appearance and real performance gains. The R600 is the most sophisticated cold-air intake available, housing a double-sized filter in a giant airbox with twin air inlets to give lower intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains.

  • Gain up to 15hp/tq
  • Factory appearance and mounting
  • Huge dual inlet design
  • High flow TriFoam filter

The R600 Intake System comes with an oversized domed High-Flow TriFoam™ air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow with lower restriction, to ensure that the largest volumes of the coolest possible air is available to the engine at all times.

With the filter rated to 600bhp, this gives great ‘headroom’ for any future upgrades you may have planned, and ensures that the intake system is operating comfortably within its capacity at all times. This maximises efficiency and improves drivability and torque throughout the rev range – turbocharger spool dropped nearly 500 RPMs, reducing turbo lag and creating faster turbo response.

The VWR R600 does not fit EA888.3 engines with secondary air injection (SAI).

Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe homage to Goodwood

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

The Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe – with a touch of Goodwood When you get to the rarefied level of the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe – starting point £253,000 – it seems almost odd to have a ‘Special Edition’ car with extra goodies bolted on. But that, in essence, is what the Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe is, although it’s more a push for the abilities of Rolls Royce bespoke design division than anything else. Commissioned by Rolls Royce in Dubai, the Bespoke Chicane Coupe comes in an appealing shade of Gunmetal Grey with matt black highlights, wheels painted to match (usually an after-market happening) with lashings of red leather, carbon fibre and piano black trim on the inside with a starlight roof lining.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (2012) first official pictures

Fri, 12 Oct 2012

If you're a Porsche Cayenne buyer, it's unlikely you're too bothered about the political (in)correctness of your vehicle. Still, Porsche has somewhat injected a modicum of common sense into the new flagship model: the Cayenne Turbo S. Despite gains of 42bhp and 37lb ft over the already potent Cayenne Turbo, Porsche claims the Turbo S suffers no drop in fuel efficiency or inferior CO2 output.
