Vwr R600 Cold Air Intake (mk7 Vw Golf R) on 2040-parts.com
Chicago, IL, United States
Used. This unit has 100 miles on it. Selling my Golf R and need to part this out. It's only been installed a couple weeks. Loved the system. Perfect fit, factory appearance and real performance gains. The R600 is the most sophisticated cold-air intake available, housing a double-sized filter in a giant airbox with twin air inlets to give lower intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains.
The R600 Intake System comes with an oversized domed High-Flow TriFoam™ air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow with lower restriction, to ensure that the largest volumes of the coolest possible air is available to the engine at all times. With the filter rated to 600bhp, this gives great ‘headroom’ for any future upgrades you may have planned, and ensures that the intake system is operating comfortably within its capacity at all times. This maximises efficiency and improves drivability and torque throughout the rev range – turbocharger spool dropped nearly 500 RPMs, reducing turbo lag and creating faster turbo response. The VWR R600 does not fit EA888.3 engines with secondary air injection (SAI). |

Sun, 25 Apr 2010We Road Test the 2010 Range Rover Sport – on and off road It’s a remarkable 40 years this year since Land Rover introduced the world to its first luxury 4×4 – the Range Rover – and changed the car landscape forever. And despite many pretenders to its throne the Range Rover is still the ultimate SUV, and probably the only luxury 4×4 that is as at home in a field as it is on the Kings Road. But by the time the Range Rover passed its thirtieth birthday and we moved in to a new millennium it started to see challenges to its throne from more road-oriented SUVS.
