Trailer full of 2014 Corvette Stingrays spotted on the road

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

If you're a Corvette fanatic dying to take delivery of that C7 you've placed an order on, take heart: There's a vehicle transporter laden with 10 (or is it 11?) 2014 Stingray coupes roaming the American southwest. Submitted by Autoweek reader Dan Becker, the photo doesn't tell us much about the car, but at this point we're all fairly well-versed in the details. Two different five-spoke wheels are visible -- most are black but we see at least one shiny set -- but beyond that, nothing is visible; the cars' tight wrappings don't even betray a sliver of the colors underneath.

Ford's maximum C for Frankfurt Auto Show

Thu, 03 Sep 2009

Ford will introduce the redesigned C-Max, which uses the automaker's first global C-segment platform, at the upcoming Frankfurt auto show. The C-Max will be launched worldwide in the second half of 2010, with other models to follow on the platform, including the next-generation Focus, also coming in 2010. The C-Max takes its "kinetic" design cues from the iosis MAX concept car unveiled at this year's Geneva auto show, incorporating features such as a coupelike sweeping roofline.

Jumpin' Jeeps: Jeep Design and Mopar roll out new treats in Moab

Thu, 01 Apr 2010

Jeep and Dodge treat the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, the same way Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche approach the Frankfurt motor show--it is a serious event deserving of its own concepts and visits by top executives. The fact that Moab, perhaps less so than Frankfurt, is also a ton of fun is purely coincidental. So every year, Jeep and sometimes Dodge roll out concepts in Moab to gauge customer interest and to thrill the faithful.
