I am selling a used Waekon gas cap tester. This tester is fully functional. I got this tester because it came with a Snap-On smog machine I bought a few years ago, which I only bought because I wanted the dyno that came with it. I have never used the smog machine or the cap tester as far as running smogs. The smog machine works but it is not compatible with California law. I paid a snap on tech to come out and look at the smog machine and the fuel cap tester, and she said that to upgrade the smog machine in order to make it legal here in California would cost over 5000 dollars. So I decided to just sell all of the components. She tested the fuel cap tester and calibrate it and it is working 100 percent good. this fuel cap tester works fine and it calibrates. However, I am NOT going to give to guarantee that you can return it if you say it does not work. Screw that. I am NOT doing any returns at all. That just leaves me wide open to dishonest people. I know that this fuel cap tester works, and that it is fully functional. If you don't like that then just don't buy it.

Classic Toyota bus back in service

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

TOYOTA has restored one of its classic buses and is now using it again to transport staff around its factory in Japan. The 1969 Toyota Coaster looks better than new after a full rebuild by workers at the company’s HQ. They had to scour the shelves of warehouses to find unused original parts to help bring back the classic bus to full health.

Parents 'risking kids' lives' on defective tyres

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

MORE THAN 30% of parents are ferrying their most precious cargo around on illegal tyres, a new study has found. Road safety charity TyreSafe has reported that one of its members carried out a study at a Shropshire primary school, where almost a third of the cars dropping children off at school were wearing tyres that were either past their wear markers, were incorrectly inflated, had bulges or cuts, or had foreign objects sticking out of them. “The start of the new academic year means that we will be experiencing many more cars on the roads, particularly at peak times of the day,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.

Acura NSX laps Mid-Ohio

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

It didn't have the production engine, nor the production exhaust (it was gloriously loud) and because there were safety vehicles on the track it wasn't able to go flat-out, but by golly there it was, a bright blue 2015 Acura NSX lapping Mid-Ohio just before the start of the Honda Indy 200. Being a production mule with any number of systems still under development, it couldn't be turned over to just any driver. So it was piloted by Jason Widmer, assistant large project leader for testing for the new NSX.
