The 2011 BMW 6-Series Coupe is revealed Having turned new car release convention on its head by revealing the 2011 BMW 6 Series Convertible first, BMW has now decided they ought to make the BMW 6 Series Coupe official ahead of its debut at the Shanghai Motor Show next month. And, as expected,we get pretty much what we got at the Paris Motor Show where BMW were calling this the 6-Series Coupe Concept – a tin-top version of the 6-Series Convertible. The lines of the 2011 6-Series (as always, make that 2012 BMW 6 Series across the Pond) are less jarring than the last model.

Honda designers talk about Tokyo concepts

With the Tokyo motor show now firmly in our rear view mirrors, Honda has made us aware of a new addition to its website that highlights the numerous concepts the Japanese company had on show at the exhibition. Answering the question: ‘ What makes people feel good?' Honda designers take us through each of the seven concepts showcased at the Tokyo show, including the RC-E electric motorcycle; E-Canopy three-wheeled scooter; MotorCompo folding scooter; TownWalker mobility vehicle; AC-X show car; Micro Commuter Concept and the EV-Ster electric roadster. VW designer de'Silva pens a Leica camera

Leica, the German camera maker, introduced the Walter de'Silva-designed Leica M9 Titanium edition camera recently at Photokina, the biannual photo gathering in Germany. De'Silva, head of design for Volkswagen and responsible for designing the Audi A5 and Volkswagen Scirocco, took Leica's original M9 camera and created the M9 Titanium. De'Silva employed his Audi design team to assist in the project.
