This new London-based vehicle design agency is led by a current student on the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design course, Chris Hrabalek, who has masterminded a complete full-size mockup of a reborn Lancia Stratos concept for this year's Geneva Show. Aptera Motors reaches end of the road

Start-up EV manufacturer Aptera Motors has announced it is going out of business. The brainchild of former Chrysler brand manager and CEO of ASC Inc, Paul Wilbur, the company had gained approval for a $150 million loan from the U.S. Department of Energy's advanced vehicle fund, but was unable to find further backing.

2011 Ford Super Duty pickup gets price hike, content upgrade

Ford Motor Co.'s redesigned 2011 Super Duty pickup will carry a base sticker price higher than its predecessor but will include upgraded content, such as a new six-speed transmission. Ford also will offer its first diesel V8 engine designed in-house. The pickup, which goes on sale this spring, starts at $28,995, according to a dealer and a source familiar with the program.
