Honda Civic Tourer stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Tue, 10 Sep 2013It’s been a long time coming, but the production-ready Honda Civic Tourer has finally broken cover, here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Offering decent efficiency (probably) with masses of space and practicality (definitely), as well as what Honda is claiming will be a “class-competitive” price, this family-focused compact estate car seems to tick all the boxes. MG exploring sports car concepts, eyeing US return
Thu, 29 May 2014MG Motor, now part of China's SAIC along with Rover Group successor Roewe, is considering a sports car in addition to long-term plans for a return to the U.S. market, according to Edmunds. The company is in the early stages of exploratory work on a sports car following the opening of a new design studio in Shanghai, a sports car that is expected to mirror the classic MGB mold, if it is determined that today's MG could in fact field a worthy competitor to the Miata.
2013 Maserati Quattroporte night testing (video)
Sat, 29 Dec 2012Maserati has released a video of the 2013 Quattroporte out night testing ahead of a Detroit Auto Show public debut. The new Quattroporte is bigger and more powerful than the current model and leaves Maserati room to introduce a smaller version – the new Maserati Ghibli – to take on the sports saloons from BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar. To be honest, the video tells us little we don’t already know about the new Quattroporte (except perhaps that it has frameless glass in the side windows), but it does indicate how keen Maserati are to keep the new Quattroporte’s PR momentum on the move ahead of its debut.
