Renault Kwid concept: star of the 2014 Delhi Auto Show

Small crossovers are big news and the striking Renault Kwid concept car hints at another entry to a category that is expanding rapidly, following the launch of cars such as the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and the forthcoming VW Taigun. The Indian car market is booming, too, so what better place for Renault to unveil the Kwid concept than the 2013 Delhi Auto Show? The small and funky 4x4 has been designed as "a new vision tailored for new market needs," according to Renault, offering a robust design with hyper connectivity aimed at the youth of today.

MINI Paceman: First production car photo leaks

With the production version of the MINI Paceman due to debut at Paris 2012 we have the first leaked photo of MINI’s Evoque challenger. It could be argued that the Range Rover Evoque has created a new premium SUV niche all for itself, but that’s not going to stop MINI going after a piece of the action. Winners of the 2013 Michelin Design Challenge announced

Michelin presented the three winners of the 2013 Michelin Challenge Design at its private Designers' Reception during of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit's Renaissance Center. A jury of automotive designers and industry experts picked the winners from the 15 finalists that best explored how design contributes to and impacts the ongoing effort to develop more efficient vehicles, while keeping the emotional side of car design front of mind. This year's top three finalists are Jorge Biosca (Spain), Liu Shun (China) and Song Wei Teo (Singapore).
