Tue, 09 Jun 2009Cars UK [rating:4.0] The Ford KA is economical around town with either the petrol or diesel engine But the diesel car comes at a £700 premium and frankly, unless you are a very high mileage motorist, the additional cost of diesel, and the relatively small real-world difference in fuel consumption, makes the petrol car the better buy. The petrol car is also nicer to drive. Residual values were always a weak point with Ford.
Ford Mondeo Titanium ECOnetic launched
Fri, 16 Oct 2009Ford has launched an ECOnetic version of the Mondeo in Titanium trim Ford has announced the launch of the Mondeo Titanium ECOnetic today. Which gives you all the extra toys the Titanium model offers but throws in the ECO bits that make the car cheaper to run. So you still get all the extra bits that make the Titanium more liveable with but you get the ECOnetic bits bolted on top.

Apparently the high gasoline prices have hit everyone, including car thieves. Honda topped the list of recovered stolen vehicles, with the fuel-efficient 2000 Honda Civic being nabbed the most often for the second year in a row.
