Wallfrin 72 Yellow Round Fog/driving Lights Datsun 240z 510 Japan Vintage Rare! on 2040-parts.com
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, US
This listing is for a used pair of WALLFRIN FOG/DRIVING LIGHT assemblies that were removed from a 1971 model 240z in the early 1980s. They have been stored cool and dry since. Though not "perfect", these are in very good shape for their age, with an ample wire pigtail for reconnection (4"+). Because of their small size (approximately 3 1/2"), these suit S30 Z-Cars very well, but they would look great on any 60s/70s/early 80s sports car. I had this pair set aside for use on my own car but no longer need them... the only set I've seen in many years. Both sides of the each light have been photographed in varying light so that you can see what you're getting. The original mounting brackets are long gone. I had cobbled together some hardware shown in the last two pictures that I thought might suit my need (which will be included), but you may want to create a mounting base that better suits your personal need. These pieces will of course be sold as is. Thank You ~ Rob.

Fri, 06 Jul 2012With temperatures soaring across North America, there's no better time to hunker down in an air-conditioned room with your pen, vellum, and markers (or, more realistically, your computer and tablet) and get working on your entries into the GM Interactive Design Competition 2012. It's only been a month since the official launch of the 2012 GM Interactive Design Competition and we're already seeing strong participation and a very high level of quality for the entries. Open to all full-time college or university students from across the US and Canada, this competition is a great way to gain exposure, but also to keep up and improve your skills over the summer. With five paid internships (housing included) at GM's studios in Warren, MI up for grabs, there's no better launchpad for your career in the automotive industry, and getting your entries online early also gives you a head-start on the competition by allowing the public and mentors to critique and review your work.
Infiniti push on with Q50 Eau Rouge project with Sebastian Vettel (video)
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Sebastian Vettel takes the Infini Q50 Eau Rouge round Millbrook The Infini Q50 Eau Rouge Concept made an appearance at the Detroit Auto Show in January as a possible Performance halo from Infiniti and featuring an appealing 552 bhp. And it looks like it could be heading for production. With Infiniti keen to cash-in on its sponsorship of Red Bull – and the appointment of Sebastian Vettel as Performance Director – the Q50 Eau Rouge could be a good way to create a halo performance model for Infiniti.
Concept Car of the Week: AMC AMX/2 (1969)
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Like Detroit's Big Three, AMC rapidly understood the importance of the youth market after the success of the Ford Mustang. In the late 60s, the design team produced a series of "Think Young" concept cars to reach the younger audience as well as exciting new showroom offerings like the Mustang-inspired Javelin, the two-seater AMX and the Rambler. Presented at the 1969 Chicago auto show, the second opus of the American Motors Experimental series, the AMX/2 was not just AMC's most daring concept car ever, but one of Detroit's first acknowledgments that the future of high-performance sports cars would be mid-engined.
