Waltham Watch Co 15 Jewel 37s Large 3 19/16 Inch across bezel and 15/16 inch thick Car Or Aircraft Clock. I have no idea what this was used in. Never seen one like this before. Weighs 1 pound 2 ounces and made of all brass case parts. Case repainted with 2 part epoxy, and winding knob has been re-plated with nickel. Movement probably isn't what came in it. Was probably a 7 jewel one. Mounting by what looks like was wood screws, and holes under screw on bezel. Clock was completely dis-assembled, all parts cleaned very well, re-assembled and lubed properly with 5 kinds of Moebius oils. The best! All clocks I sell are GUARANTEED to keep good time. Shipping weight 2 pounds.

Tracking is included in shipping charge. Better get it now before it flies out the window!

2013 Lamborghini Gallardo IS the last Gallardo (video)

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

Lamborghini has finally confirmed the Gallardo is now at the end of its life, with the 2013 Gallardo the ‘Final Gallardo’. But the Lamborghini Gallardo is anything but new as it’s been with us for a decade and, although still selling remarkably well, is well past its sell-by date. So we’d half expected that Paris may have seen the first sight of the Gallardo’s replacement rather than a mildly titivated version of the current car, but that now seems likely to happen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 after Lamborghini put up a website this week – The Final Gallardo – leaving us in no doubt the Gallardo’s time is up.

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

Ford has offered an insight into its clay modeling processes with a series of videos and an infographic that charts the process involved in turning a designer's sketch into a full-size model. The infographic uses data taken from all of Ford's global design studios in 2012 to give an idea of how much clay is used in a year, plus how much paint and di-noc film is used to cover each model. Ford has also released a video that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the firm's clay modeling studio in Merkenich, Germany, including interviews with members of the modeling team.
