SPECIFICATIONS The Warn RT15 Portable Winch is lightweight, portable and designed for vehicle self-recovery or utility pulling chores. Kit includes everything needed to winch from any battery-equipped vehicle (load strap or tree trunk protector is sold separately). Rigging system allows connection of winch to any vehicle or stable structure. No application-specific mounting hardware is needed. Features 1,500 pounds of pulling capacity, and 25 feet of durable, high-strength wire rope. Includes hand-held corded remote, integrated electrical controls, 10-gauge battery leads with quick-connector, and rigging strap. Easily transferable between vehicles. Patented disc brake for reliable stopping power. Sealed motor provides protection from extreme weather conditions. Clutch control provides rope free-spool capability. Sat, 23 Nov 2013Volvo V60 Polestar teased again Last week we had a teaser video from Volvo of what we think is probably a proper performance version in the guise of the Volvo V60 Polestar. Now, ahead of a reveal that seems to be scheduled for Tuesday (23 rd November), Volvo and Polestar are back at the tease game with a couple of new images which still leave a bit of ambiguity, but which do seem to be pointing to a V60 Polestar. The front end of the Polestar tease (above) does seem to show a butch front end for the V60, and the interior shot shows the flappy paddles and steering wheel from the interior.
2013 Toyota RAV4 infotainment technology
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Since Super Bowl ads gave the public a good look at the all-new exterior of the 2013 Toyota RAV4 , we thought we'd dig deeper and give you an idea of what to expect inside this quasi-SUV. What we learned was that life inside of the 2013 RAV4 will be very similar to what it was like in the 2012 model, at least with respect to technology, because none of the infotainment technology has been upgraded. Toyota did upgrade in-dash technology for 2012 model-year vehicles, so the existing features shouldn't be all that outdated in 2013 models such as the RAV4.
