The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer. We’ve heard rumours before that they are producing a ‘Sang Noir’ version of the Targa-Topped Grand Sport, but they’ve gone quiet on that. But now we’re hearing solid rumours, as Bugatti is 100 years old this year, that they are going to be showing a very special anniversary edition of the Veyron – The Bugatti Veyron Centenaire – at Geneva ‘o9 next month.
