SPECIFICATIONS The ultimate backup for serious adventure touring. The XT17 is a powerful portable winch that is well-suited for light ATV or motorcycle recovery, pulling up to 1,700 pounds. It is easy to carry because of an aluminum construction and easy to use, light-weight synthetic rope, it weighs in at only 8.5 lbs., this design will have you taking it everywhere. The rigging system allows mounting of winch to any 12V battery-equipped vehicle or stable structure, with no application-specific hardware needed. It features 1,700 lbs. of pulling capacity, and 40 feet of easy-to-handle synthetic rope. Designed with the patented disc brake for reliable stopping power and a sealed motor and contactor provides protection from extreme weather conditions. The clutch control provides rope free-spool capability. Includes a hand-held corded remote, rigging strap and wiring with quick-connect plugs. It is easily transferable between vehicles.
