Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-slung MPV Don’t look at the Peugeot HX1 Concept and think you’ll be walking in to your local Peugeot showroom next year and driving off in one, because you won’t. The HX1 is a showcase for where Peugeot sees the brand going in terms of “…architecture, aerodynamics, modularity, equipment, interior materials, the environment and powerplants.” Just like so many concepts from Peugeot of late – the funky HR1 Concept and the almost Aston Martin-esque SR1 spring to mind – the HRX1 is a crackingly good-looking car. A bit like a Mercedes R-Class with a proper injection of Gallic style and flair.

Birth of an Icon

The first thing you notice when you step into Icon's sprawling, 120,000-square-foot shop in Chatsworth, Calif. -- past the fenced-in yard of Broncos of every size and Land Cruisers of every generation, past the 1952 Chrysler Town & Country station wagon with the DeSoto front end and a massaged patina of greens, browns, and ochres resembling a Cezanne painting -- is the smell. Aston Martin allows fans to pick livery on GT3

Aston Martin announced a contest for North American fans last week that would have the winner design the racing livery for the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 that will compete in the Rolex Grand-Am series. TRG-AMR has two concepts approved already; fans will design the third. Contestants can log on to TRG's Facebook page page and submit a design.
