These versatile brackets allow maximum flexibility when rebuilding your suspension system. Precision formed and manufactured from ¼” steel plate, brackets are sold two in a set to fit a single shock. OE styled shock mounts are die punched and formed from 11 gauge HRPO steel. The other 4 universal brackets are laser cut from 1/4″ thick steel. All brackets are sold in pairs and are left uncoated and ready to weld.

The 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen gets a North American preview at the New York auto show next week as a very lightly disguised TDI 4Motion concept. The production Golf station wagon will get either a 2.0-liter TDI turbocharged diesel or 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine when it goes on sale in the U.S. in early 2015, but VW representatives wouldn't confirm whether a production 4Motion Golf Sportwagen would be offered.

BMW introduces diesel 2015 X3 before Chicago Auto Show

BMW's successful X3 SUV is getting new features for 2015, the company said on Wednesday before the Chicago Auto Show. For the first time in the U.S., a diesel engine will be offered on the midsized 'ute, as will a lower-cost rear-wheel drive model. The BMW X3 xDrive28d -- quite a mouthful -- will deliver 180 hp and a robust 280 lb-ft of torque using a 2.0-liter, TwinPower turbo diesel engine.

General Motors designs windshield to see what the eye might miss

General Motors is developing a windshield display system designed to outline the edges of roads in fog and highlight a deer before it crosses into traffic. The system works by collecting information through vehicle sensors and cameras and projecting laser-generated images onto the windshield. It can also highlight road signs and tell drivers when construction is coming or when a desired exit is approaching.
