By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 15 February 2008 08:01 CAR Online reader Tim Hiscocks so enjoyed our recent Italian supercar adventure to Monaco (CAR Magazine, January 2008), he drew up a cartoon of the road trip featuring the Alfa Romeo 8C, Ferrari 430 Scuderia and Maserati Granturismo. Dodge Viper Nurburgring Record Video We all love Nurburgring record videos; whether you like the car on offer or not, the skills and thrills on view make the ten or so minutes invested well worthwile. And the video of the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR setting a Nurburgring time of 7:12.13 a few weeks ago is one of the best. GT driver Dominik Farnbacher drove a cracking lap to take the SRT10 on a lap that eclipsed the Viper’s efforts from 2008 by almost ten seconds.

Chrysler, VW lead February sales gains

U.S. auto sales led by Chrysler Group surged 16 percent in February, giving the industry its strongest showing in four years in a fresh sign that the recovery is gaining more traction. Total light vehicle sales rose to 1.15 million units as the seasonally adjusted sales annual rate hit 15.1 million.
