Cast Iron Centrifugal Impeller ALUMINUM HIGH PERFORMANCE WATER PUMP CAT water pumps are manufactured from die casting 108 aluminum alloy. Die casting process with a steel mold eliminates casting porosity to a minimum. Evey pump is installed with a heavy duty bearing system combined with a 3/4" integral ball bearing and a 3/4" roller bearing to withstand higher torsion loads at high RPM and also reduce horizontal movement to extend usaful life and minimize the shaft vibration from water flow turbulence. The heavy duty mechnical water seal is for long life operation. Cast iron impellers with curved vanes are machined from CNC centers for accuracy and durability with maximum flow rate and greater pressure. Each pump is put under an endurance test in shop for four hours to ensure the best quality and peak performancecondition. Toyota Prius recalled for water-pump fix
Tue, 30 Nov 2010Toyota is recalling about 650,000 units of the Prius hybrid for a problem with the coolant pump that could cause the engine to overheat. The recall covers 2004 to 2007 models of the Prius. More than half of the vehicles being recalled, 378,000, were sold in the United States.

Sat, 09 Feb 2013General Motors' Australian subsidiary, Holden, has revealed its new VF series Calais -- the rear-wheel-drive sedan that in top-of-the-line, V8-powered, left-hand-drive form -- will be exported to North America and sold as the Chevrolet SS. The new Calais sits at the top of what Holden describes as an “extensively upgraded Commodore” range, with right-hand-drive Australian sales set to get underway in June. The Holden Commodore and its more luxurious Calais derivative have underpinned General Motors' sales in Australia since its introduction in 1978.
