VW Golf build passes 25 million

As one of the pioneers of the modern hatchback genre, the Golf was a hit right from launch in 1974, and sold one million cars within three years. Russia gets its first Lamborghini dealership

While luxury supercars have been a status symbol of the new upper class in Russia, owners often have resorted to buying secondhand or going out of the motherland for their latest top-dollar vehicle acquisitions. Automobili Lamborghini is betting on the continued strength of the Russian market by opening its first dealership in that county in conjunction with the Burevestnik Group, a luxury-automobile and yacht company, in Moscow. “We are very proud of representing Lamborghini in Moscow,” said Andrey Lomakin, co-owner of the Burevestnik Group.
