Thu, 14 Nov 2013The new Subaru Legacy Concept (pictured) is heading for Los Angeles Auto Show The Subaru Legacy is a more than decent car – and very appealing – but it’s not the most stylish looking car. But that could soon change if the new Subaru Legacy Concept – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week – is anything to go by. The front end is very ‘in yer face’ with a big hexagonal grill and ‘Hawk-Eye’ headlights, with big flared wheel arches hinting at decent power – and four wheel drive – and a character line running upwards along the side from the back of the front wheel arches to the tail.

Fri, 09 Jan 2009There were a few bare spots on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show this year, spots that in previous years had been jammed sardine-like with myriad Taiwanese makers of Hello Kitty knockoff cell phone cozies and electronic barking dogs, but the show this year was nonetheless pretty well attended. Besides, for those working their way upstream through the aisles like so many digitally trained trout, the empty spots left by exhibitors that pulled out were like refreshing mountain meadows or little piazzas in crowded Italian cities. Show management stocked the open spots with cushy couches, too, on which many a jet-lagged showgoer snoozed.
KTM halts production of the X-Bow two-seater as inventory grows
Mon, 24 Aug 2009With sales well below expectations and 80 units reportedly unsold, Austrian motorcycle company KTM has temporarily halted production of the ultralight X-Bow two-seat sports car. KTM officials originally expected sales of 1,000 units a year. But that lofty goal is being scaled back to between 200 and 300 units a year.
